Mitch is an emerging film editor and photography enthusiast who is currently being mentored through specific FC projects.

Mitch is a relative newcomer to the type of work FC delivers. Through these new experiences, he hopes to stimulate his creative side by working with people who have adopted a different way of living, and to be more spontaneous with his decisions and professional endeavors.

Mitch has been working in various bowling alleys for the last 8 years. His shift management and machinery maintenance skills are a great platform for transitioning into a career where he can learn more about people from different backgrounds, share their stories and experiences and continue to cultivate some of his own.

Whilst editing clips from the Canning Stories project, Mitch’s interest in film and media grew. After working with Ferment Collaborate’s Story Lounge team at the 2012 West End Block Party, he realised that this area is something that he would like to learn more about.

By taking some short courses, and working with other filmmakers and photographers, he hopes to create a new career path using media as his base.
